Staying alert, staying alive are two very real concerns...staying human is what? I can't say because I can't imagine living in a war torn country. I only know what I've seen in the media and have read about in history books. I wish you all the best and hope you keep a little time reserved for your own well being. Battle weary is a term that 'entrenched journalists' feel right alongside the soldiers and unfortunate citizens watching their country being destroyed. Please stay safe.

Thank you, Jim, for sensing and saying something about battle weariness. I see it too. And still, the battle is ongoing. I used to put a lot of stock on Events -- getting a big thrill when things come together and Something Happens. Not anymore. Things will happen, others won't, almost of their own accord. What matters is HOW you act / respond / live amidst these events, HOW you meet the challenges. That is where the question of being (and staying!) human comes in. Maybe that's what matters most.

Appalling Larissa, I don't know what to say other than the people of Great Britain are still firmly in support of Ukraine and will continue to be so.

No need to say much to me : ) Voice your support for Ukraine to your government and fellow citizens! Tell them to keep up the good work! We in Ukraine appreciate your help. More weapons, more quickly will give russia less time to destroy more of Ukraine and its people.
